The Power of Knowing
Conceptual Model of Light and Life

Figure 9

There are three planes/dimensions of existence that make up this reality.  The functional unit of the spiritual plane is the Soul.  The functional unit of the mental plane is the Mind.  The functional unit of the physical plane is the Body.

“X” is the commonly used nomenclature in physics to indicate movement away from you and into the screen.  “O” is the nomenclature used in physics to indicate movement toward you and out of the screen.  These are typically explained using the metaphor of an arrow.  If you see the arrow moving away from you, then you as the observer see the X-shape of the feathers.  But if you as the observer see the arrow coming toward you, then you will see the O-shape of the arrow’s tip or point.

The Conceptual Model of Light and Life (CMLL) shows the interactive relationship between the functional components of Soul, Mind, and Body.  In the case of the CMLL, the “O” at the center of the mind circle indicates the progression of mental light, via Feeling, is moving toward your point of observation.  The “X” at the center of the body circle indicates the progression of physical light, via the Nervous System, is moving away from your point of observation.

The Lens/Mirror of Mind-Body Memory

The area of intersection between the mind and the body, memory, serves both as a magnifying lens as well as a mirror.  The choices you make in life depend on the amount of clarity or density that is present in either the mind or the body.  Depending upon your level of presence, this ultimately causes you to see the other pole more clearly if the connection is clear, or it causes you to reflect the opposing pole when coming from a more turbid state.  A clear and unpolarized mind-body allows the full spectrum of mental and physical light to shine into and through the system.  On the other hand, a toxic and polarized mind-body refracts and reflects mental and physical light, allowing only a small portion of the light to shine through.  This resistance is most easily seen through the filtering and blocking action of the polarized emotion and thought found in beliefs, and of the polarized chemistry and structure ingrained in habits.
