The area of connection between the functional units of mind and body and their respective opposing light rays, feeling and nervous system, is memory. Memory connects mind to body. I call this inherent, natural connection the “mind-body”. As light rays strike the center of each functional unit they produce an area of outward moving concentric electromagnetic waves, feeling waves and nervous system waves. The mental and physical waves transport light into all the varying aspects of the denser levels of consciousness. The light waves interact within consciousness much in the same way as the waves that are formed on the surface of a pond when a pebble strikes the surface of the water.
When resistance to feeling, the mental stream of light, occurs it causes the light to decompose into its electric and magnetic components, emotion and thought. The same process occurs when resistance is encountered to light on the physical plane (nervous system). It decomposes into its electric and magnetic components of chemistry and structure. The electric and magnetic components of the mind follow the left-hand rule, and the electric and magnetic components of the body follow the right-hand rule used in physics, which states that a moving or changing electric field generates a magnetic field at right angles to itself.
